Ben Crum’s Bio

Ben takes a humorous look at familiar passages of scripture and brings them to life in a new way. Through his use of humor and illustrations he grabs the attention of his audiences and challenges them to strengthen their relationship with Christ.

Originally from Pennsylvania, he was raised in a Christian home, even after his parents divorced. Accepting Christ at a young age, God has been able to work in his life throughout his maturing process. Active from a young age in his church and youth group, eventually becoming a spiritual leader, he has worked for the past 6 years with churches and youth group across denominational lines, taking part in bringing smaller youth groups together for larger events.

Currently pursuing a Masters of Architecture at Judson College, Ben has plans to further his education with a Masters of Divinity. His desire and conviction is to use his talent and passion of architecture to serve God in the area of Church Design and Ministry Spaces. Ben takes that challenge to anyone he can reach, emphasizing that serving God full time does not necessarily mean becoming a pastor, as long as you can use your gifts to glorify God.

While passionate about challenging youth and young adults, Ben is talented in reaching audiences of all ages that are young at heart and hungry to laugh. Ben has the ability to personalize his approach for different audiences, so whether sitting down with a small group or speaking to a large audience, his style and passion will fit the occasion.

Look at the familiar passage of Jesus walking on the water with Ben and he will challenge Christians to have the courage to be the one in twelve to step out of the boat, or look at his illustration of how to deal with life’s problems through making lemonade with God. His humor will capture your audiences, as he delivers the sincere message of God’s love for his children.
